Preparation of Bengali Bori in an Easiest Way

The Bori is prepared easily in our house. Indian households commonly prepare the best buili dal bori at home.

Prepared with ground dal paste, the dal bori is made mainly with masoor dal. Moong dal, urad dal, and Matar dal could also be used while preparation.

Firstly, dal is soaked for six hours to ground it into paste. A smooth dough paste is formed after grounding lentil properly.

Whisking with hand mixer, the dal is then shaped into the small dumplings. The dumplings are being dried in the sun.

After being dried atleast for one day, the crispy textured dal bori is prepared. The suggestion is to let them store in the air-tight containers.

Dal Bori Curry

This dish is the best in taste, and is easy to prepare. With an addition of potatoes, this curry tastes perfect. Frying the dal bori in the mustard oil is the first task.

Get prepared with an onion, ginger, and garlic paste, and grind some tomatoes too. Starting with putting some mustard oil in the  pressure cooker, and putting some methi, the ginger-garlic paste in the same is the initial step.

Let the onion fry a bit then continue with red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir Fry, and put tomato paste in the same.

Let it fry. After bhuna masala is ready, put dal bori and potatoes and stir fry,  then add water in the same, and set the cooker on heat. After sometimes, serve the dish with garam masala, and coriander leaves on the top of it.
